Papercrete is a mixture of recycled paper pulp, sand, and a small amount of cement.  The paper provides fiber which gives the mixture tensile strength and creates a lightweight, durable concrete with very little cement.  Papercrete can be sculpted or poured into formwork to create a variety of building blocks or finish surfaces.  The surface can be trowelled smooth, polished, and sealed as desired.
