PAPERCRETE COUNTER
WORKSHOPS & INFORMATION

learn more...

Papercrete is a mixture of recycled paper pulp, sand, and a small amount of cement.  The paper provides fiber which gives the mixture tensile strength and creates a lightweight, durable concrete with very little cement.  Papercrete can be sculpted or poured into formwork to create a variety of building blocks or finish surfaces.  The surface can be trowelled smooth, polished, and sealed as desired.

We teach 1-day papercrete workshops on forming, making, and finishing a papercrete sink!   Check HERE for a listing of upcoming workshops.  Contact us for additional information.

WORKSHOP INCLUDES
  • overview of ingredients, proportions, and mixing

  • guided hands-on experience sculpting a papercrete countertop

  • discussion of finishing and sealers
